About
How do we present ourselves as individuals and in groups? How does this change when we’re looking at ourselves and others? Offeh invites families to create repetitive poses and positions which will be mirrored and distorted in the reflective surfaces around the room. Over the course of the weekend, families can explore different modes of display and create a GIF to capture their experiments.
This workshop is programmed in parallel with Atelier E.B: Passer-by.
Harold Offeh is the 2018-19 Serpentine Family Programme Artist in Residence and proposes to work with families to create Familial: Our Live Archive. Over the course of a year, Offeh and will invite artists to develop a series of workshops bringing together children and adults to explore media, technology, identity, architecture and public space. Working together and using performance, participants will contribute to the formation of a live archive.
