Foco Gallery presents ‘Fake Salmon’, a solo show by the artist Manuel Tainha. Curated by Kasia Sobczak – Wróblewska
About
On the exhibition Fake Salmon, the visitor will have a chance to immerse into a new set of works by Manuel Tainha, where he reinterprets Hans and Sophie Arp drawings and images of blocks of sliced raw fish. In his practice, paintings often relate to space and specific architecture of the experience. The chronological process of creation and reference to traditional cleaning techniques is what distinguishes Tainha’s works. Fake Salmon is a solo show composed of paintings and shapes framed by the fabric.
Opening Thursday, January 09th 2019, from 7pm.
