We are pleased to present new works by Fabian Treiber (b. 1986) in the solos show For A While Longer, our first exhibition with the artist.
About
For A While Longer is not only the title of our first solo exhibition with Fabian Treiber (b. 1986), it also describes the the time span that was necessary for the final realization of this exhibition in these in these turbulent times.In his paintings, Treiber devotes supposed interiors, but he makes mainly formal and not narrative decisions. In this way, he provokes a deliberate rupture and declares the supposedly false as the actual quality of painting, with the effect that his works somehow appear not to be quite right, but they are exactly right.
A catalog will be published to accompany the exhibition with texts by Harriet Zilch and Invar-Torre Hollis published at DCV Books.
