Over four days the Experimental Printmaking Summer School will introduce 3 new ways of printmaking that are direct and encourage you to adapt and develop printmaking within your practice.
About
The methods selected are not overly technical and you can easily achive results with the minimum of equipment and materials within a day. Each day will bring a new printroom experience and sensibility - 'Venetian' Off-Set Printing, Cyanotype and 3D Cast prints without a press. The final day is print magic, as we bring together our layers of experience in the print room to create new works that develop your ideas.The course is individually tailored and therefore suitable for beginners and for those with experience. You will receive individual and group tuition. Meryl Ainslie MA will introduce the 'Venetian Off Set' printmaking and share her unique method of casting prints without a press. Master Printmaker Martyn Grimmer will tutor the cyanotype day and studio printmaker Amy-Jane Blackhall will assist throughout the course.
