This year he would have been 100 years old. The Italian designer Ettore Sottsass (1917-2007) was one of the most important and at the same time unconventional personalities in the design of the 20th century.

About

He became famous for his designs, such as the legendary typewriter "Valentine" (1969) for Olivetti and the head of the design collective Memphis, which revolutionized the design of the 1980s. The exhibition illustrates the complexity of a great designer who did not understand form and function as a limitation, but as an opportunity to ask existential questions and to explore the foundations of human existence.
