l’ASILE offers an appointment of artists and innovators. An appointment where everyone has the opportunity to broadcast his work in front of a discerning audience, sensitive to the world of art.
About
THE EXHIBITION
For its opening, l’ASILE will allow 12 artists to share their work during an exhibition organized on February 1st 2019 in Paris in a secret location.
During this opening, they will be able to gain visibility, contacts and interact with other confirmed artists.
The first theme addressed; LOVELIES, will bring together three distinct exhibitions that l’ASILE has chosen to explore. The theme chosen the very first exhibition is : the Self-portrait.
A self-portrait is a representation of an artist, drawn, painted, photographed, sculpted ... by the artist himself. Artists have always represented themselves in different kind of media.
Do new habits of life and consumerism of new generations influence the way in which each person perceives and represents himself?
Any form of art is allowed, painting, photography, performance ... the self-portrait can, of course, present itself in an abstract and contemporary way. There is no limit.
The exhibition "ESPRITS DERANGES" wishes to take an interest in the artist himself through his works. It invites us to enter into his intimacy.
PARTICIPATE
-All young artists aged from 18 to 36 are allowed to participate.
- Mention at the beginning of email: Name / first name, Artist name, Date of birth, Country of residence, City of residence
-Any artistic discipline is allowed; visual arts / slam / poetry / vocals / video / performance (non-exhaustive list).
-Send a portfolio in digital format (minimum 5 works) or the link of your website.
-A description of the artistic project related to the theme of the exhibition « Esprits Dérangés - Self-Portraits », and the works that the artist would like to present.

DEADLINE:
All applications must be sent before DECEMBER 31st 2018 before midnight. The results will be sent later to each candidate.
Last but not least, let us remind you that limits are imposed only by ourselves. Surprise us, surprise yourself.
