About
A large scale installation constructed in situ throughout residency by artist Emily Paige Short.Where buildings and places might go, if vehicles became creatures of structures navigating on planes of dreams. The hidden organism of the Zeppelin, the forces of wind and setting sail, the forces of air and lifting gently into space, the potential to move, the desire to set on a voyage into places unknown leaving realistic practicalities behind to recreate the real.
'My work hopes to awaken the senses by inviting you to exist, temporarily, in the abstractions I portray within my installations, through a recollection of memories and metaphors, whilst feeling the presence of our reality and its crudeness in our everyday surroundings'.
