An exhibition of abstract acrylic paintings by the artist Elin Bjorsvik opens at Gallery 27 on Monday 28th March 2011.
The exhibition show's a selection of Elin's recent works
- colourful three-dimensional abstract paintings which have been created by manipulating light, tone and shadow through several layers of paint to create an illusion of space and depth.
Elin's artistic vision is to create images that deal with the interaction between the real and the imaginary. It's a playful journey into the imagination, where colours, lines and shapes are formed into three-dimensional abstract landscapes, creating maps of thoughts and emotions.
