About
In the modern-day world where the self is ever important and actions such as the selfie have become everyday phenomena, EGO is a series of studies into identity which seek questions such as whether we as a generation have become egotistical and insular in our outlook. Identity, Self, Alter Ego and of course EGO are the underlying thoughts that culminate in what they think EGO is. Employing a variety of practices, from paint to print and Illustration, the individual artists present their interpretations of the exhibition themes.
The private view welcomes all walks of life to view these works and to consider what EGO could be. How will you interpret it? What will you take away from this? What is EGO to you?
