Duygu Demir (Research and Programs, SALT, Istanbul) will talk about the newly opened institution in Istanbul, its mission, the architecture of its two buildings, as well as providing a look at SALT's first exhibitions. Having worked on I am not a Studio Artist," the most comprehensive presentation of works by the Turkish artist Hüseyin Bahri Alptekin, Demir will discuss the exhibition and its accompanying publication.
