Shooting Icons: Behind the Lens of Brian Duffy
Thursday 25th August
Doors open 6.15pm.
Having come to prominence as part of the notorious Black Trinity alongside Terence Donovan and David Bailey, Brian Duffy's photography is synonymous with the visual language that defined swinging sixties London.
This special event presents the opportunity to learn more about the photography of Duffy, as a special guest panel examine the influences behind his practice and his work's continuing legacy.
The panel will be led by Idea Generation Creative in Residence Evie Salmon and will include Chris Duffy who painstakingly rediscovered his father's work and now manages his archive, Linda Brusasco, who produced a BBC documentary about Duffy shortly before his death and Philippe Garner, Director of Christie's and the firm's International Head of Photography and 20th Century Decorative Art & Design.
This event also presents one of the last opportunities to catch Duffy's stunning retrospective, with his exhibition drawing to an end on August 28th.
Guests will also be entitled to a 10% discount on any prints bought that evening.
Ticket price: £4.00. Booking essential.
This event is set to sell out quickly so book your seat now through Eventbrite here.
