About
Dolores de Sade will be running a Drop In Intermediate Etching Masterclass course this March!
A fantastic opportunity for printmakers to work with an experienced etcher to solve etching problems or focus on processes they need more guidance with.
The class will be project led and largely determined by the requests of the students. Things the course may cover include gestural, tonal and textural mark making using spit bite, relief transfer, sugar lift and aquatint, as well as multi colour printing, multi plate registration, chine collé, editioning and paper handling.
1 day drop-in courses on 18th March & 25th March.

Dolores de Sade (ARE) is an artist and graduate of Royal College of Art. She has 20 years of printmaking experience and has been teaching since 2008. Dolores has recently exhibited her own work at Prism, Goto Gallery, Tokyo and at Artspace Gallery, Islington, London. She was recently featured in the international cinema release 'Rembrandt' as the technical expert on Rembrandt's etchings and drypoints. Dolores has editioned for artists and clients Christiane Baumgartner, Joshua Raffell, Royal College of Art and Royal Shakespeare Company.
