Did you know that art can help against depression?
In this challenging period, many can feel lonely and with the sense of having lost their purpose. The Drink&Draw event aims at helping everybody to find mindfulness through creativity!
Drink&Draw tickets are also fantastic as a remote gift for someone who loves to draw or who would like to connect with a creative community - all levels, including beginners, are welcome to join.
During the hour and a half of the class you will have the opportunity to make your own drawings and sketches through looking at and being guided through a series of life model poses. These images have been selected from a range of high grade life model portfolios. The particular poses have been carefully chosen for each class and will enable you to develop your skills at looking and drawing techniques.
You will be led and advised throughout the class and have an opportunity to show your drawings for quick feedback from the tutor.
The class is also fun and aims to help fight isolation with creativity enabling people to join a community of artists (and aspiring ones). No experience needed, just paper, a pencil & a glass of wine, or other drink of choice.
Once you have attended you can join our Drink&Draw facebook group and upload your drawings, which will get feedback and support from Leyden Gallery and the other group members. There you will also find lots of information and offers.
