In this 6-week drawing workshop students will explore the grounds of the Mackintosh House to draw found objects in situ. A range of drawing techniques will be used to capture matter in the natural world, exploring 3D form, texture, pattern and shape.

This course is suitable for beginners and those with more experience.
Sharon Thomas is a practising painter based in Glasgow, lecturing at Glasgow School of Art, represented by Teverina Fine Arts in Italy. Trained at The Glasgow School of Art (BFA 2001) and New York Academy of Art (MFA 2001), recent exhibitions include: Vokse-Vaerk, Museet For Religios Kunst, Denmark (2015); 21 Revolutions, CCA, Glasgow and Royal Scottish Academy (2011-13) and Herstory Portrait, Paisley Museum (2012).
