About
This drawing class is part of a four part series led by artist Rebecca Harper. She will lead you through a range of exercises offering an in-depth and experimental approach to drawing, using the artworks from the Giuseppe Iannaccone Collection as learning tools and inspiration.
This session will investigate different techniques for handling materials and observation, to explore the way you can vary control over the drawn line.

About the artist Rebecca Harper upholds a mode of reconstructing visual appearances through drawing from; life, events, beliefs, dreams, memory and mediated imagery, whereby seamless, sometimes fictional fragmentations are rearranged and presented as plausible happenings. She has studied at UWE Bristol, The Royal Drawing School and Turps Art School and taught drawing at The Sattachi Gallery, The V&A Museum of Childhood, Cass Arts, Drawing School Central/Selfridges, The Southbank centre, The National Gallery. She was awarded The Michael Moritz residency Tuscany and The Modi Institute of Fine Art, India. Harper is currently Artist in Residence for the Ryder Project at A.P.T in Deptford 2018-19.
