Scholars and writers join artist Doris Salcedo (b. 1958, Bogotá) in an interdisciplinary symposium, which will address a broad range of issues germane to her influential practice.


The program draws on literature, philosophy, psychoanalysis, and critical theory, as well as art history, and will conclude with a reception and viewing of Doris Salcedo.

This event is sold out. Standby tickets will be available at the door and will be released on a first-come-first-served basis.

Katherine Brinson is Curator of Contemporary Art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and exhibition curator of Doris Salcedo.
