About
The title of the show being an excerpt from a 1989 interview between Marco Pierre White & Lisa Butcher, Woz uses the text to underpin his practice’s interest in the power struggle between artist and entrepreneur.Woz (b. Dubai, UAE) is an MFA graduate from the Slade School of Fine Art. Having grown up in the Middle East before completing an undergraduate at the Ruskin School of Fine Art, Oxford, the artist has exhibited at places such as the Chalton Gallery, Crypt Gallery and Muddy Yard. He has also undertaken residencies at the Merz Barn, UCL and in Zarakes (Greece), as well as formerly being awarded the Stanbury Scholarship Prize.
