About

Domestic Architecture

Sanghyeok Lee’s objects are intriguing and inviting to look at and use. They appear to be everyday objects – mirrors, tables, shelves and chairs. However, when taking a closer look and engaging in a dialogue with the objects, something new is revealed – something hidden behind the perfect workmanship, minimalist design and harmony between forms and function that only comes to light when interacting with and sensually experiencing the objects. South Korean designer Sanghyeok Lee exhibits five of his works, placed and presented in different spots in the museum:

Upper floor (OG)
Tower (2018)
I’ll be your mirror (2016)
Common Sense (2017)

Ground floor (EG)
Listen to your hands (2011)
Listen to your hands / Edition h (2017)
