About

Dividing Line

Whether a wall, a border, or cultural divisions, a Dividing Line is an artificial construction. In fact is the line really there? In Visual Art the difference between light and shade can make what appears to be a line. One colour against another colour appears to have borders that delineate. At the same time the fluidity of a single line, the expression and way it is formed can give what it divides more life and substance.

In its second year at ACAVA’s Central Space Gallery, RAG presents the first of two exhibitions on this theme.
There will be an afternoon of talks on Saturday 8th June, 4-6pm, to hear from a selection of artists about their work. Very popular, entry is free and all are welcome.
