‘Distilled' will be the first major exhibition by award winning photographer Emma Brown of images from her personal journey around Asia. Featuring photographs from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Hong Kong ‘Distilled' focuses on Emma's ability to connect with people for the brief unguarded moments that they share, where she finds the beautiful in daily experiences. To balance her commercial practice Emma has spent time travelling near and far to study and immerse herself in other cultures hoping to absorb and to give. Travelling and its ensuing encounters fuels her spirit and inspires her creativity. Emma is going to be sharing some of these brief encounters in ‘Distilled' over the weekend of 18th and 19th June 2011. There will also be performances of gypsy-influenced dance each day.
