Arts 4 Human Rights is very excited to announce our first festival from 8th-15th May, 2010. Spanning across the London borough of Southwark, disPLACEment represents the organisation's objectives to raise awareness through participation in the arts. The theme of this year's festival is disPLACEment; a topic which is explored through a highly impressive array of events, which include visual artworks, installations, theatre, live performances, music, films, talks with experts, and schools and community workshops led by professional artists. Arts 4 Human Rights offers a ‘taster' of the festival's events. Selected artists present information about themselves, their work, and their respective causes. Performances by Inua Ellams & Camila Fiori plus discussion with Monica Alcazar, Christine Bacon, Ursula Troche, Wiracha Daochai, Aarti Kapoor, Ioannis Athanasiou and Katherina Radeva chaired by Anna Chapman.
