Contemporary Art Exhibition with Christmas Fair
On Sunday 13th December 2015 after Christmas Carols (6pm) in the church St. Mary Magdalene, Paddington will take place a Private View of Elizabeta Chojak-Mysko, Jolanta Jagiello and Tomek Mysko. Warm welcome to all with interest in art and humour.
A bit about the church :
Looking from Little Venice or coming from Royal Oak, the red and white spire of St Mary Magdalene is a landmark in this part of Paddington, London W2.
St Mary Magdalene’s is well known as a film and TV location.
The church is prominent in “The Blue Lamp” (1949) “A Secret Ceremony” here, starring Elizabeth Taylor and Mia Farrow.
Unique interior of the church was the venue for the memorial service in “The Constant Gardener” and the crypt has been used in a number of films, including “The Oxford Murders” and “Franklyn” recently.
The crypt has been used for many television productions, including “Poirot” and “Lewis”.
See you at the crypt this Sunday.
