This autumn, LUMAS London will present a contemporary discussion exploring the manipulation of light within photography and abstract art.
About
Taking light, form and colour as a starting point, this illusionary series will contrast photography by Dani Olivier and the late Heinrich Heidersberger against original artwork from Christoph Schrein and Nancy Wood.
Dialogue of Light will draw on the parallels between photography and art, exploring how light has saturated and shaped both mediums over the past century. This exhibition will showcase a selection of works that have all been manipulated in an original way, using light and experimental techniques to offer the viewer a fascinating illusion.
Artists will be set across from each other initiating a dialogue examining the common element of light within the works and revealing how abstract art has influenced photographers in all genres.
