Five London bridges feature in this exhibition of David Haste's ‘modelled narratives' works. These intriguing three-dimensional sculptures are constructed mainly in wood, carved and finely painted. They combine the freedom of pictorial space with the tactile and variable viewpoints of three-dimensional form. Subjects originate from the auto-biographical or carefully researched sources, presenting the familiar with the unexpected. David Haste will be talking about his London Bridges exhibition and some of the narratives surrounding the work.
