A group exhibition featuring 11 artists from many different disciplines, all reacting to the theme of human life on the edge of despair.
About
What awaits the viewer?
The philosophical approach towards the given theme of the exhibition is blazing a trail through the diverisity of working materials of the individual artists. The current exhibition shows collage, acrylic, oil panting and photography realised in many different manners. Eleven approaches to a given theme interpreting it personally whether it be through classic or surreal painting, extreme or minimalist photography, performative installation or spray paint on canvas. Yet each work whil being part of the whole stands on its own, each work has its own soul, its own story, its own reason for existence, each work is in turn a reflection of the nature of each artist. The personal hand of the artist is clear and there is a visible innovation in the working of materials used.
Not only does this show feature artists who are represented by the gallery, the exhibition was advertised at all major academies throughout Germany and therefore young masters students had the opportunity to to apply for the exhibition. The original idea was to select one applicant- but two students have convinced us of the quality of their work. For this reason we are ddelighte to announce the winners of the tender: Rachel Morgenstern (Karlsruhe/ FFM) and Forian Tenk (Munich). Furthermore, we have chosen to invite Sandra Setzkorn, a multi talented painter and photographer from Berlin. Alongside these we are very pleased to have on display the installation PINK SILENCE which connected over 200 people at Auroville and Pondicherry in a large social sculpture from the artist Bogna Grazyna V. Yaroslavsky.
This exhibition is a compound of many works by a very diverse selection of artists from many regions of the world and how they all individually interpret human life on the edge of despair.
