About

Alston Takes Cover is a unique project, developed in collaboration with The Place, giving young choreographers the opportunity to create short ‘cover versions' of Richard Alston's Wildlife (1983). With their distinctive voices, choreographers Tony Adigun (Avant Garde Dance), Rachel Lopez de la Nieta (Dog Kennel Hill Project) and Moreno Solinas/Igor Urzelai (BLOOM!), promise to produce surprising and unconventional takes on this Alston classic. Alston Takes Cover will be presented prior to Richard Alston At Home, and performed by dancers from EDge, London Contemporary Dance School's postgraduate performing group.
