Dail Behennah began making baskets in 1990 before beginning to create more sculptural works.
Her work is about line and depth, light and shadow, appearing calm but not static.
Geometry and mathematics underpin Dail’s practice, which is also rooted in notions of place. Dail has a degree in geography and her most recent exhibition, Fieldwork, responds to the landscape of the North Pembrokeshire coast and includes new work in metal, paper and wood.
