Create cyan-blue prints with this early photographic printing process.
About
This workshop will begin by introducing a history of the Cyanotype process. Looking at old and new cyanotype works for inspiration, participants will learn how to coat the paper and create exquisite Prussian-blue images.
The practical methods explored will include contact printing using objects or an acetate negative, onto coated paper, processing it, and toning participant’s magical prints.
If you would like to bring your own objects, leaves, flowers etc, to use for the photogram, please do. If you wish to work with an acetate negative, please e-mail digital files at least a week in advance to info@darkroomlondon.org
No previous photography or darkroom experience necessary.
All materials included in the fee.
