Pangolin London is delighted to open its exciting Autumn Exhibitions' Programme with an bright and uplifting new show ”Craving Colour", much-needed in the current climate. The exhibition will open in the gallery on Wednesday 1 September, and be on until the 16 October.

About

“The craving for colour is a natural necessity just as for water or fire. Colour is the raw material indispensable for life. At every era of his existence and his history, the human being has associated colour with his joys, his actions and his pleasures”.
- Fernand Léger, On Monumentality and Colour.

Colour is a major part of the human experience; a signalling system that evokes an emotional response. From Merete Rasmussen's electric blue abstract ceramic to Jon Buck's brightly painted bronzes, a variety of sculptures and works on paper will be on display. The exhibition will include a wide variety of works by Ralph Brown, Jon Buck, Ann Christopher RA, Steven Gregory, Bryan Kneale RA, Jeff Lowe, David Mach RA, Charlotte Mayer, Breon O'Casey, Eilis O'Connell, Merete Rasmussen, Almuth Tebbenhoff, William Tucker RA and Patricia Volk.
