This very special exhibition embraces the
'Life in Colour' of Craigie Aitchison RA.
It brings together more than 30 original paintings and prints spanning his career 1952-2009.
About
We glimpse the imagination and experiences that inspired Aitchison's luminously coloured compositions made throughout his life. Crucifixions mingle with the Scottish landscape of his childhood, Montecastelli, Italy and India. A heartfelt honesty beams from his images of friends, personal objects and his beloved dogs.
