A day of discussions and screenings at mima, exploring Lynch’s influence as a practitioner operating across the perceived boundaries of film and art, and how contemporary artists and filmmakers traverse this divide. Speakers include Brett Littman, Curator of Naming; award winning artist and director Shezad Dawood; artist Georgiana Starr; and the author of The Film Paintings of David Lynch, Allister Mactaggart. The day will be introduced and chaired by Stephen Bode, Director of Film and Video Umbrella.
