About
Penny German ARBSA
Penny’s work results from a love of the process of painting. It is about looking for a passage of light, a shadow, a texture in the ordinary & the mundane that she connects with and that resonates. From there, it is about describing that point of interest, using a limited palette & as few brush strokes as will translate her initial excitement. Penny could paint the same object every day & never tire of it because it is about the journey & the process, the result is happenstance.
Penny is an associate member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists & Northampton Town and County Art Society
Lesley Dabson RBSA
Lesley works predominantly in oil or charcoal. She enjoys painting coastal marine scenes, & exploring the abstract quality of water juxtaposed with a sold object, often a boat, building or the coastline. In her wave paintings, she aims to bring to life the drama of the sea, & loves exploring light & movement on the surface of the water. Lesley works both en plein air & in her studio.
Lesley is a member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Chelsea Art Society & The Society of Fulham Artists & Potters
