About

For those who appreciate art, or even for those who don’t go to galleries too often, the Brazilian artist Alexandre Gondim's exhibition is unmissable! The exhibition displays 20 works of abstract art, whose purpose is to touch the audience and foster many sensations through the use of colours and shapes.

Alexandre's work has a well-defined identity and can hardly go unnoticed. His paintings are, in general, vibrant and full of energy. His tropical roots can contrast with the grey shades of London, yet, his artwork shares a universal language.

Each exhibited painting brings a story, an emotion; they are portraits of the unconscious of the artist in the moment of their production. The diversity of his work is intentional so as not to become repetitive. The exhibition, therefore, is a true banquet to avid eyes and minds.

Alexandre was born in Salvador, to the northeast of Brazil, and has lived in London for almost 4 years. He has a degree in advertising, yet art is his passion. His influences include Kandinsky, Pollock, Miró, Picasso and Romero Britto
