Confirmed Touch is a group exhibition showcasing the work of 11 emerging artists and recent graduates, who came together to create an eclectic show focused on communicating each artist's individual practice, expressing themselves despite their hidden but precious roles usually played inside galleries. These are the artists behind the displayed art, detached from it and showing their own personas through their art. With a wide variety of work in the show, the common theme of self-expression is shown through explorations of culture and heritage, discussions around gender, feminism, surveillance, mental health, and the Anthropocene, as well as questioning memory and temporality. The multifaceted show features a variety of mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, and installation, as well as film and textiles.
