Please join Lichtundfire for an Informal Artist Talk with Q&A and Exhibition Walk Thru followed by a Reception for COLOR HIGH & RAW EMOTIONS, with artists working in various media and jointly curated by Priska Juschka (Director, Lichtundfire) and by Arielle Mark (Director, Mark Gallery).
About
A joyous celebration of expression, while deeply rooted in art history, the work emphasizes, playfully but strongly, on color and texture - demonstrating a freedom that deliberately defies rigor, repetition, and formulae.The ten artists in the exhibition, with individual techniques of hues, marks and strokes, reveal a unique set of raw emotions that remark on color and material with the right side of the brain. And, by doing so, the artists - by means of their different media - turn their mediums into portals for self-expression.
This exhibition has been jointly developed with Arielle Mark of Mark Gallery, formerly of Englewood, NJ, as a collaborative project at Lichtundfire.
COLOR HIGH & RAW EMOTIONS will be on view from July 6 - August 4, 2018.
