About

This is the final week to see the LAPS 22nd National! Exhibition closes Saturday November 12th. Note that gallery hours this Saturday are 2PM to 5PM only!

The National is a state of the art survey of contemporary printmaking with 54 artists selected by juror Kenturah Davis from a national open call. The National also includes recent work from 11 of Los Angeles’ Fine Art Presses and Artist Presses and a special selection of prints from the 22nd National Honorees, Betye and Alison Saar.

Los Angeles Printmaking Society is celebrating 60 years, founded in 1962 by artists Connor Everts and Paul Darrow and now a national artists organization. Betye Saar was one of the first 34 members and is being celebrated as an Honoree along with her daughter Alison Saar.
