With London marked as the third-largest centre for film production worldwide and with the industry growing bigger than ever, what are the options available to those who wish to work within the film industry and become fully-fledged filmmakers?
Previously at Sarabande, we held the talk ‘Script to Screen’ , followed by ‘Get Your Film Seen’ - and through this practical talk, we discuss the reality of entering the film industry and building a career for yourself as a filmmaker.
Joined by CIRCA 2022 winning artist and moving image creator Joseph Wilson, 2021 UKVMA award-winning director Lucrecia Taormina and Producer Juliette Larthe, also founding partner and executive producer at Prettybird, this Sarabande talk questions what you can do to enter the film industry and the streams of support that remain available. It also opens up the discussion of alternatives ways to chase your dreams within the film industry and ways to flex your creative muscle.
