City Lit Fine Art course: A part-time alternative fine art course, taught by practicing artist/tutors in dedicated studios in Covent Garden, central London.
About
The City Lit Fine Art (CLFA) course is a 1, 2 or 3-year part-time programme that supports the development of a personal creative practice.
Working in small groups CLFA students engage with practical workshops, combined methods and materials, group seminars, individual tutorials, and self motivated creative research. Together these support the refinement of a range of studio-based skills, contextual understanding, professional practice and the production and exhibition of artwork in various media.
The course can be taken as an alternative to HE Fine Art study, or enables applicants with previous experience to develop and refine an existing practice.
CLFA runs one day a week, over three 10-week terms, from October to July.
Year 1 – every Monday
Year 2 - every Tuesday
Year 3 - alternate Saturdays
Sessions are held in large art studios in central London. Basic materials are supplied.
Applications are open now for an October 2024 start.
