An Exhibition of Contemporary Painting tactileBOSCH opening 23rdjune—15thJuly 6.30 In the 21st century, as in the last, painting continues its dramatic and unceasing evolution. This age old medium continues to fascinate artists and remains as vibrant and relevant today as ever. Unlike the last century we can no longer clearly identify schools or trends but what we have instead is much more interesting and complex — a dizzying multiplicity of aesthetic modes, conceptual approaches, subjects, styles and perspectives coexisting, sometimes on a single canvas. The new school is no school. Or all schools. CITIZEN is the 2012 installment of tactileBOSCH Gallery's annual painting, printing and drawing show - this year devoted exclusively to painting. The exhibition will consist of new work by both Wales / UK based and international artists and will be a testament to the continued exuberance and interrogation of the medium today
