Join us for this Now Showing, where London-based filmmaker Deborah Findlater will present her film Jezzy (2017) alongside, Among Good Christian Peoples (Catherine Gund, Jacqueline Woodson, 1991) from the Cinenova collection.
About
The event is also presented as a precursor to an exhibition of new work by Deborah Findlater at Cubitt in late 2019.
Cinenova: Now Showing screenings began in March 2015 and runs regularly in various venues around London. As part of Structures That Cooperate, Cubitt will be hosting some of the series in 2019.
The series intends to materialise relationships between contemporary artist moving image practice and the feminist and organising legacies present in the Cinenova collection.
