The Weekend Gallery proudly presents an exhibition of works by Julien Hatswell Born 1968 Julien graduated from KIAD at Rochester in 1991 and worked freelance for a few years at a London toy design company. In 1995, he set up he's own sculpture production business ‘Baroque Designs', designing and manufacturing a range of Art Nouveau/Gothic inspired home decorative giftware. In 2005 Julien introduced an all new collection of Dali inspired warped clock sculptures. Since then ‘Baroque Designs' has gone from strength to strength and the collection has grown to over 40 unique designs. Together with these activities, Julien has been producing highly detailed and accomplished oil paintings of fantasy subjects and mythic landscapes and has sold original works to collectors as far afield as Hong Kong and Australia. In this latest exhibition, Julien successfully blends his love of fantasy/ surreal subjects with the ‘time' theme to supplement he's sculptures.
