Getting old is weird and sudden; one minute you’re young and the next you’re not.
In Soixante Mirth, a completely new work by Charmian Hughes, she is revisited by three earlier Charmians at ages ten, fourteen and twenty-five.
Hughes thought she would be an adult by now - but her ten year old former self wants to know what she's done with her life, whether she's kept her promises and what on earth she is wearing.
