TheGallery invites you to celebrate a quarter-century of artistic innovation and cultural enrichment since its inception in 1998. TheGallery proudly presents "McKeever's Against Architecture" as part of its 25 Years Exhibition Showcase.

About

To commemorate TheGallery's rich history and continued commitment to fostering artistic dialogue, TheGallery proudly presents "McKeever's Against Architecture" as part of its 25 Years Exhibition Showcase. In 2003, Ian McKeever became the first artist to exhibit under the text+work program, which was established to underpin TheGallery's exhibition program by promoting thoughtful discourse between contemporary art, design, media practice, and their theoretical context.

The opening night of the exhibition will take place on 2nd November, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. With formal speeches from Arts University Bournemouth Vice Chancellor, Professor Paul Gough, and TheGallery Curator, Violet McClean. Followed by a text reading and an impressive dance performance.

This exhibition will run from 3rd November until 18th January, with an exciting panel discussion on 18th January, from 5pm-6pm.

This esteemed public gallery event is open to all, embodying a mission to make art and inspiration accessible while reflecting the University's steadfast commitment to excellence in education, industry, and the arts. No RSVP is required.
