An Exhibition by Catherine Kaufman of soft sculpture female figures. Catherine uses the ancient craft skills of felting and spinning with wool to produce her work.

About

Catherines work making the life sized figures is labourious and painstaking . Catherine uses wool as her chosen medium. Making the felt and spinning the wool is traditionally deemed as womens work . Catherine hopes to echo the female in the creation of her work. Catherine uses Myth and Legend to inform her work .
