Cathedral is a sound based immersive performance held in near darkness. The performance is inspired by Raymond Carver's short story and explores how do we really remember events, others and ourselves?

About

There is a story, but we can’t remember the details. It has a figure, but its features escape us. You’re my old lover, but I can’t remember your voice.

Freely inspired by Raymond Carver’s short story, ‘Cathedral’ is an audio-based performance taking place in subtle states of low lighting that exposes the audience to the ambiguity of memory and doubt in recollection.

Cathedral will premiere at RichMix on Friday the 23rd of October, at 7.30pm in a double bill with 'Jellyfish' by Alice Malseed as part of 'Small Story / Big City 2015'.

“Powerfully intense, engaging and brave!" The New Current.
