Castlefield Contemporaries transforms this unique building into an alternative art space with new media, sculpture, video, painting, drawing, live art and conceptual art. This exhibition will provide a platform for dialogue with other new artists, artists groups and studios who are finding alternative ways to work and present art. As well as being a showcase of new work a closing party attracting new and established North West based artists and groups provides a networking/talk/discussion event on 13th December (contact contemporaries@castlefieldgallery.co.uk for more information). We aim to provide a glimpse into the Manchester's current art scene by inviting all involved to talk about their personal practice or experiences in artist led groups and studios.
