Martyn Poliakoff, Research Professor of Chemistry University of Nottingham, considers the accidental reaction in response to Raphael Hefti's approach to producing artworks, which sees the artist interrupt chemical and industrial processes to startling effect. Cafe Scientifique is an informal meeting ground for those interested in discussing the latest advancements in science and technology.
