BV Studios, St Philip St in Bristol BS3 4AE is throwing open its doors to the public. The studios have the largest community of independent artists in Bristol. BV Studios is home to over 100 artists who work in a variety of media. The artists have been selected by the studios for the quality of their work and their commitment to creative practice. The artists range from recent promising graduates to established, award-winning, international artists such as Fourth Plinth Nominee Mariele Neudecker. The studios provide a supportive and stimulating environment for artists to produce and present their contemporary visual and sound art. They function as a test space, laboratory, launch pad and stage for artists. The Open Studios include an exhibition of selected work by some of the studioholders.
