'We don't think in stills...We are video!' (Film maker David Marchant, 2011). This summer will see the return of elysium gallery's hugely successful annual international film festival which will take the form of BUS STOP CINEMA. The elysium gallery premises is situated besides one of Swansea's busiest bus stops and so the gallery will be transformed into a cinema showcasing the short films of 12 national and international artists throughout the day and early evenings during August in what will be elysium gallery's 5th Annual Film Festival. This is the second leg of the Bus Stop Cinema tour as films were premiered at the Hay-on-Wye festival in June and will travel over to Venice in September. Featured artists: David Marchant, David Theobald, Elina Medley, Hazel Gore, Jacob Dwyer, Jayne Wilson, James Johnson-Perkins, Lindsey Foster, Melvyn Williams, Sean Vicary, Shabnam Piryaei and Thomas Canning.
