A collection of artworks created over a number of years, I explore a realm between figuration and abstraction where mindfulness is as important as chance and accident. We use our senses and mind to interpret what we see and to make sense of the world around us we generally do the same when looking at pictures. I enjoy works that explore and play with the connections we make with image and form, the obvious and subtle where one suggestive brushstroke or pen mark could create a surreal world of limitless possibility.
